Taylormade R9 Irons
Taylormade has just recently announced the launch of their new R9 line of irons. The R9 iron offers both distance and control in classic, tour inspired shape. For distance and forgiveness, the 3-6 irons feature Taylormade’s new Velocity Control chamber which helped to increase ball speed and heightened the MOI for more forgiveness across the entire hitting surface. The long and mid iron also feature a new vibration dampening system for solid feel and sound at impact. The short irons have a deep undercut cavity and increased heel and toe weighting for control, workability, and added forgiveness. The beveled soles help reduce turf resistance and promotes crisp contact from a wide variety of turf conditions. New for this year is the addition of the stock KBS Steel premium shafts which is quite an upgrade compared to the previous iron line.
