I recently bought this driver off Ebay with the cheaper Graphite Design YSQ shaft. I've played both TM Burners, and the Superquad. All are great. This R7 Limited feels a little longer and it's as easy to hit as the Burners. But it sure ain't twice as good as the Burner, for the money. TM knows there are guys like me chasing technology, and have probably put a new driver out just since I started this post. They've put out at least 10 different drivers in the last 2-3 years. They make every other company try and keep up with them. But I would rather they wait a couple of years until they come up with something really better before spewing another clone into the market place. With the economy going south, my guess is they won't be selling many $500 drivers for long.

I have just purchased one of these amazing drivers in a 10.5 S-flex. As soon as you hold the driver in your hands it feels confident and extremely well balanced with its Matrix shaft. In the last year i have bought 3 drivers; the R7 Draw, the Tour Burner and now the R7 Limited. I purchased my club from Drummond Golf and was fitted using their "ClubFit" technology. I was hitting my Tour Burner 226meters according to their computers... the pro then handed me the R7 Limited and the first ball i hit travelled 267meters!!! Over 10 balls I averaged 254meters. The clubs MWT is simple and can be changed in seconds and I will not be surprised if this club comes up trumps in the 2009 Golf Digests Hot List. If you get a chance... make sure you have a swing of this club!!! Thumbs up, from me.
