Bourdy Performs Great

Gregory Bourdy of France denied David Howell what would have been a great victory for by winning the Estoril Open de Portugal at the third hole of a play-off at Oitavos Dunes. Scot Alastair Forsyth, seeked a second win in three weeks. He had tied on the 18 under par mark of 266 after two closing birdies. However he fell out of the race after driving into a bush on the second hole. (more…)

Jose Maria Olazabal Not Sure Of Captaincy

Jose Maria Olazabal insists that he has not been offered to become Ryder Cup captain for Celtic Manor in Wales in two years’ tenure. Time Crunch For Sandy Lyle

Sandy Lyle believes that time is running out on his bid to be Europe’s Ryder Cup captain. Lyle made his debut on Champions Tour earlier this month. But since the Ryder Cup was not scheduled to be staged in his native Scotland until the year 2014, he believed his chances of captaining the European team in the biennial matches against the United States were gradually becoming less. David Howell Returns To Action

After a dreadful 2007 season where the 32-year-old came crashing down from a career-high third on the European Tour Order in 2006 to 142nd, he managed to retain seventh-place at the Qatar Masters. Nick Dougherty Remains On The Top

England’s Nick Dougherty stayed at the top of the leaderboard at the Maybank Malaysian Open after he opened the tournament with a 10-under-par 62 at the Kota Permai Golf and Country Club. Dougherty managed to maintain a two-stroke advantage over Simon Dyson and Australian Marcus Fraser. Both the players carded eight-under 64s in the morning.

Adam Scott Delighted With Self Performance
