Power Golf Carts
Just like a car, gas fueled golf carts run on gas. You can get ones that run on diesel and ones that run on unleaded gas. The choice is entirely yours. But you must remember to always carry a can of gas with you in case you run out of gas somewhere in the middle of the course. The newer models of gas powered carts are also cleaner and quieter. The other kind of golf cart is the electric powered golf carts. The biggest disadvantage is that if you run out of power then you are stuck in the middle of nowhere. You cannot recharge. However, they are extremely environment friendly.
There are many companies that are experimenting with hydrogen and solar powered golf carts. The solar ones have a photovoltaic appliance built into the golf cart roof. This way, the machine can recharge its batteries with renewable and non-polluting power. Some courses have already started using it as they have yielded good results.
Once you have decided on what kind of golf carts you want, you need to decide whether you want to buy one that is new or a second hand cart will also work for you.
