Ping I15 Driver Review
Having always been a fan of Ping products, I have been chomping at the bit to hit the new I15 Driver. Ping designed the I15 with the better player in mind. The traditional head shape paired with an open face angle sets up perfectly to my eye and the dark finish framed the ball nicely at address. Although this club is 460 cc’s, it doesn’t look it. There is a good amount of bugle and roll for added workability and the bulge crown design gives golfers added ball speed and a solid, muted feel. Because of this, the I15 is no slouch in the distance department. I was consistently hitting the I15, 10 yards further than the G10 I was comparing it to. As usual, the stock shaft offerings are very good. The new Ping TFC stock shaft is extremely stable and smooth and the Aldila Serrano is a great shaft for those looking to reduce their spin rate. If you are in the market for a new driver, then do youself and hit the I15, you won’t be disapointed.
