Ping G15 Driver Review
The Ping G10 driver was one of the best selling and best performing drivers Ping has ever made and when word spread about the release of a new G15 driver, Ping golf enthusiasts began licking their chops. Like the G10, the G15 driver is designed for maximum playability, giving golfers more distance, forgiveness and accuracy. Compared to the G10, the G15 has been slightly elongated giving the driver a higher MOI in both axis’ producing longer, more accurate results. The addition of an external sole weight positions the center of gravity lower and farther back than the G10. This will help you hit higher, lower spinning drives. Compared to the G10, the G15 has a larger, thinner face, giving players more ball speed and forgiveness across the entire hitting surface. The G15 is available in lofts ranging from 9 to 13.5 degrees and two different shaft options. The Ping TFC 149D is a premium, lightweight shaft, providing golfers with optimal launch conditions as well as superior feel, control, and consistency. The other shaft available is the new Aldila Serrano, a premium shaft that produces a lower launch angle as well as a lower spin rate than the Ping TFC149D. Other shafts and custom options are available from the Ping WRX department. Order the new G15 driver today for a mid-August ship date!

I have just put a deposit on the G15 as I’m wait for some gift cards to arrive to pay for this purchase. I have hit with the driver three times on an indoor range and have been impressed by the extra distance that I have seen. I have tried a number of driver and get about the same carry with them all. But the G15 has gained about 20 yards carry, sometimes more. I have regarded my G5 as my fall back, but I can hardly wait to get the G15 on the course.
