Odyssey Black Series Tour #2 Putter
The highly anticipated Odyssey Black Series Tour Putters have finally been released. Designed after input by Phil Mickleson and Ernie Els, the Black Series Tour #2 Putter is a milled, precision crafted putter that features a squared off heel-toe weighted blade with a crank neck hosel and full-shaft offset that is similar in looks to the famed Ping Anser putter. The putter is milled from 1025 carbon steel for soft and responsive feel and for sound, a thin urethane dampening layer was added between the head and the tungsten flange. The Black Series #2 putter also features Advanced Roll Technology to deepen the center of gravity to help promote a truer roll immediately after impact and the TD milled face features a sharper, deeper milling pattern for increased interaction between the ball and face for improved consistency. I am in the market for a new putter and this one may fit the ball. I am between this model and the scotty cameron california model. I went to a local store and tried them out and I am still not sure. So far, the feedback on this odyssey is pretty good and have always like Callway-Odyssey products. Your price is lower than everyone out there, I think I am going to bite the bullet and give this one a shot.
