Nike Victory Red Iron Review
Victory Red Irons help the Red, White, and Blue win the Ryder Cup!!
I have just been able to see the Nike Victory Red Forged TW Blades for the 2009 product line. Some of you may have noticed Paul Casey using these to help the United States win the Ryder Cup. This will be Tiger Woods signature model but I believe you will start seeing a lot of the Nike Staff players putting these in their bags. My favorite feature of these irons is the CNC milled face. It is something that I love for wedges to have and you are starting to see it show up in irons. This iron has the muscle back design which allows for more workability for a blade. This iron is way too much golf club for me but your low to scratch handicap players will enjoy the thin top-line and the 1025 forged carbon steel that allows for the soft feel that many desire. The overall look and feel might bring some Mizuno followers to the Nike side!!

I can not wait to hit these new irons. The new victory red wedges look even better.
I also head Nike is coming out with a new custom fitted golf ball. That will be interesting.

If they play as well as the nike blade now they will be a big hit

Have been a blade iron user for quite some time and am interested to see how Nike incorporated the muscle back onto these clubs. Sounds to me like this set is going to be very forgiving.

Although the blades might be a little hard to hit for the average golfer, the cavity back Victory Red iron will be better for a higher handicap player like myself.

this review really seemed like the writer knew what he was talking about. i mean i’ve been playing mizunos ever since i can remember, but now seeing that the REDS are going to have that sort of muscle back cavity i think i’m going to have to take a closer look at these guys.

I have never really been a blade user, so I am glad that they are coming out with a cavity back on this line as well. Can’t wait to try them out.

hit the blades yesterday, great feel and workability, the sweetspot feels absolutely huge, which is unusual for a blade club… all in all an amazing club

I have always been a Nike guy, and these new irons are getting great reviews, I am excited to get these in my hands to experience.

Hit them yesterday, one of the best blade clubs, and Nike clubs I’ve ever had in my hands. Wow! Super job.

I hit both the blades and the cavity backs. They live up to their hype. The blades are beautiful and easy to manuver, although lacks distance like you would expect. Great trajectory and smooth feel-no stinging on mishits. The cavity backs are solid and not easy to work the ball but really good distance and straight direction control. I have been playing the P-8 iron for a week and have been hitting greens like you would not believe. Awesome to chip with as well.

This is a great great set of clubs. Should surely be on the hot list this year.

Love, love these clubs. Every time I hit them they feel so great and so smooth. Can’t wait for the snow to melt to buy them and use them outside.

I’m pretty sure Paul Casey is European and would not have played with the Americans in the Ryder Cup.
