Getting your kids interested in golf
You simply love golf and enjoy every bit of the game. But your kids may not share the same feeling. Don’t you wish that you can get them out with you and share your excitement? Well, here are certain tips that will help you do exactly that.
• Get them some nice golf equipments. You get an assortment of those at the shops. Invest in some good ones. This is the first interest point for your little one.
• Take your child out into the sunshine and give him a feeling that you are in for a day of fun. Teach them the basics of grip and swing without being too strict. After all, they are here to have fun and not to attend some golf coaching classes. Let them swing as they want to. Make it look like some outdoor picnic.
• Talk to your golf course authorities to find out when is the best time for your kids to play.
• You can decide whether you want to keep a score or not. Do whatever motivates your kid.
Make sure that you give your kids some basic guideline on the dos and the don’ts. But then again, you cannot ask them to be on their best behavior. After all they are here to enjoy.
