Christmas season this year will have some new goodies that will be under golfers’ trees!! Guerin Rife Golf has a new line of putters that will start to see store shelves filling up with. The new putter is the Rife Two Bar Hybrid Tour Blade. The putter has the plumber neck hosel. There is a black finish to this year’s model. I believe that the black finish will appeal to more golfers because of the popularity of the darker finish on putters and wedges in the last few years. The Face has the 6061 CNC milled design that allows for the Roll-Groove technology. The golf fanatic will appreciate the at home customization abilities of the putter. As with other Rife models, this one has the LieAlign bending tool that can allow you to bend the putter yourself to create the optimal lie angle. There is no other putter on the market that allows the consumer to do the bending at home!! To even add to the customization, the putter has 2 15 gram weights and 2 22.5 gram weights that allow the putter to create the perfect feel. The putter comes in both mallet and blade version so there is a model for everyone’s tastes. These putters will hit store shelves on November 1, 2008. The previous model was the 2007 Golf Magazine Mallet of the year and I believe they could make a strong run for the award two years in a row.
