World number two Phil Mickelson has won the Northern Trust Open by two strokes at Riviera Country Club in California. He finished 12 under after a concluding round 70 but was given the title after chief competitor Jeff Quinney imploded on the back nine. (more…)

The PGA Tour of United States has made a massive change in its cut-off rules recently. Initially the tour had a policy of top-70 and ties being able to play the weekend. But now it has decided that it will limit the numbers by putting a stipulation on the ties at the cut line. (more…)
