In today’s economy people are looking to trim back spending across the board. The question is are the Golfers ready to trim back as well on spending. As we all know Golf is a great game to escape from challenges that are in our lives. It takes us to a “Happy Place” that takes our minds off the stress that is all around us. I believe that Die-hard golfers will remain buying, and the avid golfers will pull back a bit in spending. The Golf industry has been seeing a steady decrease in sales over the last 2 years and now even more so. Golf manufacturers will start extending product cycles, and moving up new product launches to capture sales. I don’t believe that you will see price reductions due to the economy in the new products from the top manufacturers. Let us know your thoughts. How is this economic crisis going to affect your Golf buying habits?
