Buying guide for Hybrid golf club

Do you usually face problems in hitting low to mid irons constantly? Then there is one product that can help you a lot. A hybrid golf club can help you get your shots right. However there are some considerations that you should keep in mind before your purchase one.

Hybrid greatly differs from irons which they replace. A hybrid golf club is a traverse between fairway wood and iron. The weight of hybrid golf club is very less compared to normal golf clubs and has a larger sweet spot. This helps you to get the ball in the air making a solid contact. The sole of hybrid club makes it more effective while going all the way through rough and bad lies. This also helps you to rescue from trouble. A low profile and having larger sweet spot makes it very easy to hit.

Why to choose hybrid golf clubs?

Hybrid golf club manufacturers have made it very easy by numbering them with iron numbers that they are replacing. There are some variations in manufacturer terms, which differ in length of the club as well as the degree of loft. It is not a major problem but is something that you should look out for before you compare brands.

Hybrid club features:

•    It has a low and deep centre of gravity that makes it easy to hit shots
•    Hybrid golf club has a maraging steel, pull-face
•    Has a COR to increase ball speed and improved sound
•    Milled face grooves that offer extra consistency and performance

Hybrids have rapidly gained popularity and technology advancements the last several years. 3 and 4 irons are becoming extinct. The Bobby Jones hybrids have a great sweet spot, but the head is on the small side. Also, the Nike square hybrids are a top draw with their sweet spot.

  2. Lucus Says:

Hybrids are excellent, lose those long iron clubs and may even gain distance.
