Avoiding back pain in golf

Playing golf can at times lead to severe back pain. So it is important that you warm up before taking the first swing. Your muscles are cold. The moment you swing those cold muscles, there are chances of injury. So, before you start the game, it is important for you to stretch properly. If you feel any kind of discomfort while playing, it is extremely important that you take an expert opinion. Neglecting pain initially can have a massive snowballing effect after sometime.

If you are young, then your warm up can be more strenuous than the ones meant for older people. The same warm up sessions are not suited to all. You will have to find out what suits you the best. You also need to do some flexibility exercises in order to ensure that you do not cause any injury to yourself during swinging. You need to do the flexibility exercises not only before the game but also at home. You can avoid back pain by keeping your back muscles loose. Just be a little careful while swinging. You would not want to damage your muscles permanently.
