Adam Scott Delighted With Self Performance
Adam Scott divulged that his record score in the final round of Commercial bank Qatar Masters was his best ever last-round performance in his overall career. He fired a course record of 11 under par 61 to emerge victorious at the Qatar Masters at the Doha Golf Club. In the process, he became the first man to win the Qatar Masters twice. He had won the trophy on he made his debut in Doha in 2002. He also said that it was his second win coming from behind on the final day. Scott came a joint fourth heading into the fourth round. Most of the victories had come from the front-runner.
Adam Scott said that the basic key to his success was reeling off five consecutive birdies, which may be put immense pressure on all the other players from the beginning. He also said that Henrik Stenson did everything right and yet missed out on the win. He also said that maybe Stenson deserved to win the entire tournament. Adam Scott had already made a reputation at the international arena. Previous year he had won the Shell Houston Open, single success of 2007 and stood an overall fifth US Tour triumph.
