A power hitter

If you can analyse why you are losing power and distance in your game and accordingly resolve the problem, then you will be able to become a power hitter. If you are teeing the ball too low, you can get over the problem by teeing the golf ball up, with half the ball above the top of the driver head. You need to have a wide stance with your toes slightly splayed out. Some golfers have a tendency to sway backwards. This can hamper your distance. Try to turn more rather than sway back. You must also see to it that you do not keep the club close to your body on take away.

Reverse pivot makes you lose a lot of power. Here your weight tends to go towards the front leg on the backswing. Some golfers have a tendency to flip hands. You will need to keep your hands cocked to get energy. Having your hands very high will result in a weak finish. You will need to allow your body to
come through naturally. Rotate your hips over the left leg and allow the right heel to come off the ground. Following the tips above will help you become a  power hitter.
